Consistently Excellent
My family and I had dined here several times in early 2008. Between us we tried nearly everything on a menu that features mainly, but not exclusively, local fish dishes - including mahi mahi, yellow snapper, blackened snapper, grouper and lobster. All these fish dishes, as well as the steaks and chicken, were consistently excellent - we were not disappointed once. The desserts were also good - look out for the Key Lime pie, which was my personal favourite. The Hardy's Australian Chardonnay, suitably chilled, was an excellent accompaniment to all of these.

The Sirena hotel, which includes this restaurant, changed ownership in 2006. The previous owner was Swiss - which explains the existence of a 'fondue evening'. We chose not to have the fondue - to us, a fondue should be made with little more than Raclette cheese and bread, so we weren't convinced by this particular 'Caribbean/Swiss' fusion concept! By sticking to approximately local ingredients - from the same hemisphere, at least - you can eat very well here.    [18 Jan 2008 06:40:07]
