Great lunch with a view
We stop in for lunch and ate on the outside patio, cooled by the trade winds and were treated to a panoramic view of the beaches and the Tiara del Sol golf course.

We split a large zuppa pasta fagioli that was very nice, loaded with fresh made pasta and beans. The server supplied a dish of grated parmesan cheese for the soup. My dining companion ordered the Panini Melanzana Parmigiana on foccacia bread and I had the Penne al Aribiatta. Both were generous servings, well prepared and very tasty. The only down side was the foccacia bread which could have been a bit better, but this certainly didn't spoil our lunch.

The servers were attentive but not intrusive. I can't imagine service much better that this.

Our next visit will be for the sunset view from this fabulous location. Many tourists stopped to see the view but didn't stop to eat or have a beverage at the lounge and that was their loss. We always stop here for a meal during each visit to Aruba and this tradition will certainly continue.    [13 Mar 2007 14:45:52]
