The restaurant service was exceptional, the food was just as good if not better! The atmosphere was relaxed, romantic and friendly..and the live music was superb.
One of the best restaurants I have eaten at and I have never given any other restaurant such great reviews.

The Grotta Capri has to be the leader in Seafood Platters. After moving to Perth two years ago, we've yet to find any restaurant remotely close to Grotta Capri's superb quality of food, matched by the friendliness of the staff. The food is always fresh, the music adds to the ambience and the atmosphere is fun, romantic and relaxing all at the same time.
We're in Sydney for only 3 days soon and a dinner booking at Grotta Capri is an absolutely priority (to celebrate my birthday of course). Why can't they open another restaurant in Perth?! Though beware - you may not fit you main in if you indulge in too many entrees!    [20 Aug 2003 03:30:39]

The Best
I took my husband out before we were married and he's now hooked (esp. on the Stuffed Barramundi). Many return visits (in fact we drive a long way for dinner here). Change of owners ?
I'm not sure what has happened but after going to the Grotta for many years and loving it, I was bitterly disappointed with my last experience there recently. The oysters were not fresh, and the seafood seemed as though it had been frozen prior. Chicken wrapped in Prosciutto, turned out to be a bland, unseasoned piece of chicken breast wrapped in a thick rasher of bacon. The food overall was not up to even RSL standards, and the prices hurt for what we got for our money. The restaurant also has a musty smell now throughout due to perhaps no or little maintenance of the interior's water features.. Hope that they can pick up the standards and have it back to how it was a year or so ago.    [08 Oct 2004 02:30:02]

Went there last weekend with friends. They all loved it. Food is just great. I had a salmon grilled to perfection, bedded on couscous and topped with roasted mushroom and spanish onion with a balsamic vinaigrette. It looked great and the taste was also absolutely sensational. My friends loved their seafood aswell. Can't wait till 12th of november- my girlfriends birthday...........No doubt I can't treat her with anything better.!!

The Best Seafood Restaurant
Went there for the first time and had an experience of a life time. Right from the time of the arrival, the owner and the efficient staff at the Grotta Capri made us feel great. The food was sensational. The sizzling garlic prawns, salt & pepper calamari & the seafood platter was the best the world has to offer.
