Terrible service great food
I always love going to Hogs Breath but I left very upset after an experience at the Flinders St cafe last night. I took my mother and grandmother there to experience your great food only to encounter problem after problem. Firstly we asked for 3 waters and only got 2 (no big deal), I asked for mashed potato with my steak- the waitress said they had run out so I asked for more salad, my dish come back with the same amount of salad as if I had a side of potato so when I queried the lack of salad (real lack) they told me I would have to pay for more and handed it to me without even giving me the option but assuming I wouldn't pay for more. My mother asked for a diet coke and when it hadn't arrived at our table she went up to the bar and the girl told her "it was coming!" when clearly she had forgot because she wasn't busy at all and was talking to her friends/co-workers instead. Finally before my grandmother even finished eating they asked if we wanted the bill-no offering of desserts or coffee. We all loved the taste of our meals but were disgusted with the service. My mother let one of the guys working there know (who did seem very hard working) and he said the manager wasn't there so I thought I'd let the manager know myself.    [22 Mar 2007 00:15:41]
