Pre-theatre dining
We were attracted to Cinque Lire because of a special offer of free tea/coffee on presentation of our tickets to CLOC's theatrical production.
The menu appeared quite delicious, and choosing was difficult. Unfortunately, having chosen something scrumptious, we were informed that it was off the menu that night. Arg! We still ended up with a yummy dinner, although it would have been nice to have been informed of the cancellation much earlier.
The staff were otherwise quite helpful. The lovely meal was let down just a little by the paper tablecloths (never my favourite) and the somewhat cavernous atmosphere of the foyer into which the dinner tables spill during the evening it seems.
As pre-theare dining, I would definitely consider coming here again.    [09 Sep 2005 02:59:55]
