Description
The restaurant is easily accessible from the E25/A411. A detailed map can be downloaded from the website.
Private parking is available, also locked for bicycles. There is space for parking buses in front of the building.
The restaurant has 3 separate rooms, one large for banquets of up to 200 people, a main entrance restaurant for 40 and a large veranda for 60 persons in a very bright and elegantly decorated room.
The food is multicultural, the establishment offers seasonal promotions like game in winter, seafood in september, asparagus festival etc...
The hotel is small and only has 7 rooms, nothing flashy but cosy and clean.
Day trips in the forest are organised by the owner; you will be dropped with a picnic basket and a map in an area from where you can walk back to the village or to another location where you can be picked up from.

Great Little Place, Quiet, Fantastic Food, Pleasant Surroundings
We were travelling through the Ardennes and ended up on a small road in a village named Paliseul. A nice and appealing auberge with ample car park was on our way and we stopped for a meal.
Great food, great service and resasonable prices. We now stop every time we travel to Belgium and visit the Ardennes. [19 Nov 2005 07:57:25]

Nice and restful place [Endroit tres sympa et reposant]
We appreciated the quiet, the garden where the children could play without risk and the quality of the meals ... exceptional and at reasonable prices.
When we went for a walk to the Tombeau du Géant, the owner dropped us off with our picknick basket; it was great but for the rain we hadn't counted on ...
Great weekend.

Nice place, good ambiance, good meal [Coin sympa, bonne ambiance, bon repas]
We had a nice meal, they're very friendly. The place is easy to find.
We stayed a while in the garden; the place lends itself to a rest. The owner allowed us to to put our motorbikes in the private area for security's sake, which was kind.
We'll be back.
[On a bien mange, ils sont tres sympas. Le coin est facile a trouver.
Nous avons passé du temps dans le jardin et l'endroit est tres bien pour le repos. Le patron nous a autorisé a mettre nos motos dans la zone privée pour la sécurité et c'etait sympa.

Nice place, very good cuisine, superb welcome [Endroit sympa, tres bonne cuisine, accueil superbe]
We really appreciated the restful surroundings and the veranda with its natural light. Local cuisine was succulent, with home-smoked salmon and homemade foie gras... a real treat. The sympathetic manageress advised us on walks in the area and that night we stayed at the hotel.
Cute little rooms, well-kept, a quiet place.
