Les Cretias
Les Cretias is one of the best restaurants in Belgium. It is not cheap but you get very good value for money. They are also very helpful and if you choose, for example, the Menu Plaisir, and there is one item you are not keen on they will suggest good alternatives at no extra charge. They also have a good wine list and, if you, like us, do not want to drink too much at lunch, you can do very well by choosing one of the cheaper wines from the list and not taking the inclusive menu with wines.

The welcome is very nice indeed and the little Amuse-Bouches are a lovely introduction to the meal. Afterwards it is nice to take coffee in the comfortable lounge or, in good weather, in the garden.

We think they deserve 2 Michelin rosettes. Shame that they do not have even one!
