Do Not Go There
Hello all,

Myself and my dinner partners have just returned from an evening at the New Dynasty Restaurant. When we first walked in the waitress put us in the back of the restaurant in a small room. This room had about 10 tables in it which were all occupied by white people. As we ate our dinner I watched as a few more couples were seated up front. All of these couples were of Asian descent [..]. Each time a white group of people came into the resturant they were seated in the room at the back with the rest of us. [..]

Just as we were getting up to leave [the waitress] came over and took the bill away from us. When she brought our bill back to us the total on it had gone from $43.15 to $52.80 for no reason at all. When I asked her she said it was because she forgot the price and had added it wrong. I don't know about you but when I charge someone the wrong price at my retail store they pay what it ring up as in my till even if the price is lower than what it should be because it is our mistake, not the customers.

[T]he manager told me that we would have to pay what the waitress said the new price was, and did not listen to our concerns at all. Then as we were on our way to the front to pay, the waitress rudely grabbed my friend and pulled her to a different cash register as though she thought we were going to run out. Greatest Restaurant Ever
The person who just reviewed this restaurant is a racist and a skin head. I am also white, but this "anonymous writer" can't tell a good thing when it hits him in the face. This is the greatest chinese restaurant, or greatest restaurant overall. Me and my family, and many other people I know have been going there for years. Um, okay ....
I have been at this resturaunt on several occasions. I will agree, that there have been a few times that my bill has been "re-evaluated", mostly in the downward direction.

But to be honest, in the many times I have been there over the last three years, I have only one eaten in ther main room, and have been put in the back an alost every occasion. As for the service, its a buffet most of the time, i serve myself.    [03 Aug 2005 18:17:28]

Can't say enough good things
I agree with Mr.(Mrs?) Tarkowski. I only found this website because I was looking for their phone number and I had to Google to find the information. But out of curiosity, I wanted to read the reviews. I can tell you that if you are looking for the friendliest Chinese wait staff in the city, go to New Dynasty. If you are looking for the cleanest washrooms in the city, go to this place. As for the food, well, their success speaks for itself.    [22 Mar 2006 02:53:16]
