Great Menu Selections!
Friends from Didsbury who we were visiting took us to The Fireside for dinner. We were very impressed by the ambiance and the classy menu. Didn't expect it in a small town like that. Service was very good for a busy night. Highly recommended. The only glitch was with the Borscht - I thought it was too watery.    [02 Oct 2004 22:17:51]

it wasnt all that!
My husband and myself tried the fireside in carstairs on sunday for the first time .
And we found it to be very over priced, very very very slow service, and the atmoshere was poor.The waitress was very mixed up she gave us someone elses bill then when she briught us ours she didnt add the desert on it which was fine by me it wasnt worth a dime.
