Worst Food in Alberta
I stopped in Elk Point for breakfast with my family one morning on our way to Moose Lake for a weekend of fishing and r+r. We decided to go to the Burger Bar as it was across from Tags. We ordered the pancakes for the kids and they could not even swallow the first bite. I thought kids are kids so I tried them. They were disgusting.

Then our bacon and eggs came. The eggs were supposed to be easy over but were cooked solid. We asked for brown toast and got white. When we asked if we could have brown he asked us what we thought he was to do with this toast. When I told him it was not our problem as we asked for brown from the beginning he reluctantly made us some more toast which took another 8 minutes. By then our breakfast was cooled off. Also the coffee was disgustingly bitter. It tasted like it was warmed up from the day before.

I asked if we could have a doggy bag for the pancakes and eggs, even the dogs put their noses up and could not eat them. Needless to say we will never set foot there again. Plus I think the owner has a real attitude problem. How he keeps the doors open beats me!    [08 Nov 2004 01:37:14]
