Peeved Customer

Attention KFC Director General,

On Friday evening after spending hours at the emergency unit in an Ottawa Hospital, I called KFC Delivery Service at 9:00 p.m. for home delivery.

My order number was P1405-# 010085. The order was taken by 256 and delivered by GB.

I ordered 4 piece white meat with fries, 4 chicken strips, large fries, pop corn small, 250 ml coleslaw, 250 ml gravy.

The order arrived at my apartment door at 11:00 p.m., 2 hours after placing my order.

The food was soggy, not very palatable and to add to the frustration, the pop corn meal was missing and my wife and I were very hungry and counted on KFC to give us a moment of relaxation by ordering your foods.

For one incident, I would not or ever make any fuss about but the reason that I am really peeved is that, on my way from the Hospital, I stopped at the ST Laurent Blvd. KFC and ordered 4 piece white meat. The cook said that he could not fulfill my order with white meat and that I had to take dark meat with my order. There is a poster on all KFC menus which states that white meat is available with a slight cost of a few dollars more, which I really don't mind even if it was 10 dollars more. When I feel like eating white meat, I want white meat and I will pay the difference.

I did not purchase at St Laurent KFC because I know from experience that if I order for home delivery and ask for white meat, there is no hassle and I get white meat. Why is that you can't get white meat at the counter and white meat is always available when one orders for home delivery.

To make matters even more peeving, I reside off St Laurent Blvd. and I know that when I order for home delivery, my order comes from the same KFC who first denied me white meat.

In light of the above, would you be so kind and look into this matter for me and get back in touch with me. I honestly love your food, its good, tasty, inexpensive and in all other instances where I ordered, reasonably fast.

My order on Friday cost me $28.91 with tax and I was short on pop corn meal at $3.39.
