Fabulous dining next to the 14th c Palace of the Popes
Restaurant Christian Etienne in Avignon is a magical place - the medieval frescos on the walls, the view of the Palace of the Popes in Avignon's center, and of course the food. The epitome of Provençale cuisine, Christian Etienne, welcomes you as if you were a personal guest. Imaginative, subtle, the dishes are just plain marvelous. What else to say? Excellent dinner
The service was impeccable. You can order a tasting dinner, which is a great value, or you can order a la carte.

Beautiful setting, delicious food
Sit on a terrace right next to the Avignon medieval Palace of the Popes, and enjoy a perfect meal. Service is rapid and perfect, atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is simply delightful. Imaginative, tasty, just the right size portions.    [19 Aug 2007 18:24:34]
