Hot Chocolate to Die For!
Every time I go to Paris, I have to stop in and get some hot chocolate in this cafe. The food is fine, but the hot chocolate is absolutely stunning.    [25 Apr 2000 21:42:07]

On my first visit to Paris in May, Cafe Angelina was recommended, and it was a pleasure to enjoy a leisurely meal at this lovely tearoom. The food was excellent and promptly served (the Mont Blanc is not overrated in the least!); the waiter was congenial, and the surroundings delightful.    [27 Jun 2002 13:31:54]

I was there 25 years ago. Nothing has changed. It is wonderful.

Honeymoon and... cocoa
My wife and I got married in 1997. We visited the marvels of Paris then, but we got the true surprise with the delishes of Cafe Angelina. We'll come back to Paris on Sunday, October 20th, 2002 in order to sing with Maestro Ennio Morricone. Angelina, here we come! Italy, Rome. But the smoke!
The hot chocolate and pastries were marvelous -- but the cloud of smoke covering the entire downstairs room was unbearable. Upstairs smoke free but entirely without charm -- an almost punitive atmosphere. Guess you have to decide what's most important.    [14 Apr 2003 15:48:35]
