A Traditonal Favorite This old bistro is cluttered with the master models of turn of the century carpenters who used the building as a guild hall. The food was very good with a standout being the sadle of rabbit with rosemary. It was perfectly cooked, moist tender and flavorful, not a simple task with the dry rabbit loins. Maybe the best rabbit I have eaten in Paris. Service was prompt and courteous, but dragged a bit. They were very busy. Aux Charpentiers is also a good value, and a perfect place to snug down on a cold night on the Left Bank. [25 Feb 2003 17:45:47]
