Lacu Miga (English: The Bear's Den) is a in a log construction building on the outskirts of Ligatne town adjacent Gauja National Park. The location is rural with views looking down into a tree lined valley. Atmosphere is cosy, and the theme is bears. Ligatne Park is well known for a family of European brown bears. The theme is of great appeal to children who will happily play with the soft toys in the play corner. Lacu Miga also provides swings and other equipment in a playground.

The menu includes a wide selection of high quality european dishes and some more exotic dishes adapted to European tastes. Lacu Miga also includes a hotel, and provides breakfast as well as a daytime menu. Prices are medium for Latvia, and low by international standards. Local beer, or wine is is available from the bar and can be ordered with the food.
