Much too expensive for the next-to-nil quality [Veeeel te duur voor de barre kwaliteit]
Jeepers, they give you a sub-standard meal for a lot of eurodollars.

Kiddie menu: 3 bits of pork fillet (3 mm thick) of 2 by 3 cm and exactly 20 french fries (yep, those teeny tiny thin ones), no dressing, no ketchup, you have to ask for everything, apple sauce they don't have altogether, oh oh and those southerners are so child friendly eeehhhhh???? This kind of quantity that wouldn't fill a fortune cookie set me back 7.50 EUR

Other than that they seem to keep things modest - well: they don't have any competition, so who would stop them? They don't have to make any effort and you can see that from the staff's faces and from the food.

Don't go here!

Kindermenu 3 stukje varkensfilet (v 3 mm dik) van 2 bij 3 cm en welgeteld 20 franse frietjes (ja vd die kleine dunne) geen fritesaus geen ketchup alles moet je erbij vragen en appelmeos hebben ze al heeeelemaal niet ach en die zuiderlingen zijn zo kindvriendelijkaaaaaaaaaaa??????? Dit gevulde holle kinderkiesje kost 7.50 euro

Verder alles met mate zullen ze daar denken tja concurentie hebben ze niet dus wat let ze? Ze hoeven hun best niet te doen en dat straal vd gezichten van heren personeel en het eten af.

I don't know where the earlier review comes from, but at Knossos you get great food. In my opinion it is not really important that their cuisine doesn't target children. Take them elsewhere if they absolutely must have loads of fries, so they can get nicely fat.

This restaurant offers a varied Greek cuisine with traditional dishes. Obviously they also have the Gyros that us Dutch people are used to. The serving staff are always available for a nice chat and on top of that the restaurant has become very cosy after it was rebuilt. This restaurant is too good for Culemborg. But that is why we enjoy it all the more. Definitely recommended.

[Ik weet niet waar het eerdere commentaar vandaan komt maar bij restaurant Knossos kun je heerlijk eten. Dat ze hun keuken niet op kinderen richten lijkt mij niet het belangrijkste. Neem ze maar mee naar ergens anders als ze persé bakken friet willen hebben. Kunnen ze lekker dik worden!

Wat dit restaurant te bieden heeft is een gevarieerde Griekse keuken met traditionele gerechten. Uiteraard hebben ze ook de Gyros die wij Nederlanders hier gewend zijn. De bediening is altijd in voor een leuk gesprek en bovendien is het restaurant sinds de verbouwing zeer sfeervol en gezellig geworden. Dit restaurant is te goed voor Culemborg.
