New In Town
Het Pomphuis is not unknown in Ede. Recently it got a new owner who tried a whole new menu with a new crew. In the menu you can choose half portions or whole portions. Appetizers, pasta, soup, main dish, afterdish. There is choice for everyone.

We ate a salad with rucola and prawns. Pasta penne with spinach and salmon. Seawulf with vegetables and then last but not least, sorbet icecream with fresh fruit. With the coffee we got home-made cookies. The service was very nice and prompt.

A succesful evening.

A minor point is that we could not pay with our visa card (that evening, it was broke). We had to pay cash and we heard that after we ate already. The next day I paid what we came short. She trusted us. Our total bill was for an amount of EUR 240. It is not cheap but we ate with the four of us each four courses and three bottles of housewine.    [01 Aug 2002 02:23:26]
