THE restaurant for meat lovers! Cosy, easygoing atmosphere with correct humorous service. We did not have any entrees so this is for the next review. The main course menu provides a wide variety of first choice beef dishes to be combined with sauces of your own choice. I had a very nice tenderloin beef filet with a nice taste a la Rossini (port sauce with duck liver). My girlfriend enjoyed Sole Meuniere which was good but not as fresh as it is in the most of the seaside situated restaurants. All of my other 6 friends enjoyed their meat dish. As dessert some of us had cheese and caramel pudding which also was good. The garlic butter served with the bread is very nice, the bread itself was not fresh and seemed to be reheated. The veal with duck fat served with the bread and garlic butter was not very tasty. Alltogether a very cosy restaurant with great beef dishes! [15 Mar 2004 04:53:42]
