Heerlijk drie-gangen surprisemenu genoten op terras aan de maas. Vooraf bij de port een bordje met lekkere olijven en plakjes droge worst.

Dunne plakjes rundvlees op salade met asperges en dillesausje; victoriabaars en kabeljauw op een bedje van knapperige peultjes, met een saus van creme fraiche. Garnituur van goed gevulde salade met o.a. pistachenoten, mais en dressing, aardappelflintertjes met kwark, en waarachtig, frieten!

Toe een mirakels torentje van aardbeienmousse, vanille-ijs, dun koekje en slagroom, waarop een soort passievruchtje. Aardbeiensaus rondom. Bij de koffie (zelfgebakken?) amandelkletskoppen, fudge en chocola.

Dit diner was zo ontzettend AF! Alles vers en precies goed van smaak en consistentie. De bediening zeer vriendelijk en vlot. Heerlijke plek om nog eens terug te komen.

[Enjoyed a great 3-course surprise meal on a terrace by the Maas. For starters with the port wine a small plate with nice olives and slices of dry sausage.

Thin slices of beef on a salad with asparagus and a dill sauce; nile perch and cod on a bed of crunchy green beans, with a whipped cream sauce. Garnish of extensive salad with amongst others pistachio nuts, sweet corn and dressing, thinly sliced potatoes with cottage cheese, and, lo and behold, fries!

For dessert a mriacle tower of strawberry mousse, vanilla ice cream, a thin cookie and whipped cream, topped with a kind of passion fruit. Strawberry sauce around the whole. (Home-baked?) almond "kletskop" cookies, fudge and chocolate with the coffee.

This dinner was so very PERFECT! Everything fresh and exactly the right taste and consistency. Service very friendly and smooth. Great place to come back to.]    [10 May 2003 14:10:41]
