Description

Beautiful restaurant build and decorated in a classic German/Austrian style. The waiters and waitresses are dressed in South-German classic clothing.

It consist of several buildings, with rooms ranging from 10 to 275 people and two garden areas for outdoor dining, lunching or partying. It is located in the old Westfriese village Hauwert. Small but cosy, free from the noise and pollution from the cities and roads.

In the middle of the largest room is a fireplace that always seems to be burning and where you are usually welcomed by the owner. He is easily recognazible with his shiny head, big moustache, stylish clothing and friendly manners.

It offers a la carte dining, special arrangements on special days like mother's day and christmass and is well know for the wedding party possibilities. They offer a full service: transportation, entertainment and food.

This is a restaurant where you can spent your whole evening and where they don't try to get you out of the door as soon as possible. Usually there is some live entertainment and in front of the fireplace is a dancefloor.

A four course meal costs about 37,50 euro.
Appetizer and soup prices vary from 5,50 to 13,50 euro.
Main course prices vary from 18,50 to 23,50 euro.

Parking is free on the restaurant's own parking lot across the main building or along the street. Don't speed, it is a small and twisting road. Respect the villagers.
