Description

A small restaurant in the middle of fields and water, only accessible by walking over a small path and a floating bridge. The interior breathes warmth through terracottta colours, wooden floor and decoration. The view is fantastic! In the winter, the wood burner gives a really cosy heat.

The menu is simple but offers a good choice for everyone: fish, meats, vegetarian. In a way, it does not matter too much what you choose. Everything is prepared in the house kitchen and very tasty. Extra items on the menu list are displayed on a blackboard on the wall. The wine list is in line with the style of the restaurant - the house wine is the only choice in red or white and okay to drink.

Absolutely Dutch
Beside the things that are written in de description, this is a place where you can experience the real Netherlands, as it is in the flat lands.

Just walk along the path for another 200 meters and you are standing before a real old Dutch water-mill, cows and meadows all around it! This all comes for free!    [14 Jun 2006 04:15:06]
