Very pleasant restaurant
I was born in Holland and so I go back and stay with relatives every so often, I went back last summer(2002) and since I stayed in Lekkerkerk we visited the Golden River for the first time. It was a Sunday night and we were the only people in, so it lacked atmosphere but since there were about eight of us it was ok. The food was delicious and I couldn't fault the service (whether or not it was so good because we were the only people in there, remains to be seen). There was also a karaoke which the owner of the restaurant sang on and if you wanted you could too. Overall I had an enjoyable evening and would recommend that you visit if ever in the village.    [19 Jan 2003 04:47:25]
