Description

Located on Saba's highest mountain, the SABA Ecolodge is a 15 minute hike from the nearest village of Windwardside, or a 3 minute walk from the nearest road. The small open-air restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, using homegrown vegetables and herbs where possible. The menu is an ever changing selection of dishes with a Caribbean flair. They also serve an Indonesian Rijstafel one night a week.

Most Unique Place I've Ever Eaten!
As an outdoors person, going to a restaurant that I had to hike to was awesome! (There is a road that brings you almost all the way there and the walk from the road is flat for those that can't or don't want to hike.) You feel like you're in the middle of the jungle yet still receive excellent food and service! The staff are down to earth, very friendly and very attentive. The food was incredibly fresh, we saw them pick the lettuce for our salads right outside in the garden. The menu is small, 4-5 main dishes, but varied enough to please most everyone. I ate here 3 times and LOVED everything!    []
