Description

The prestigious Press Club's restaurant is set in a charming XVIII th century building with a lovely inner-garden. Among it's habituées you can find diplomats, politcians and,of course, journalists. The kitchen offers creative Mediterranean food and the wine cellar is representative of the portuguese winemaking tradition.
A must while you are in Lisbon.

A Magical Night in Lisbon
I admit, I'm biased. My wife lived with Andre's parents when she was a student in Lisbon. That said, you MUST visit this wonderful restaurant, especially if you're a newsie, or in the media business. Andre Magalhaes, the owner and chef, has years of media experience under his belt, and has combined that with his love of cooking and wine to create a wonderful dining environment. As a leader in Portugal's "slow food" movement, and a leading wine writer, you can be assured that the food and wine is excellent.    [21 Jul 2008 12:41:38]

Recommended Dishes: Bacalau (my wife loved this). Chicken w/pork sausage filling (I loved this). Ask for Vinho Verde (Portugese green wine.)
