Best for Authentic Romanian Dishes
The extensive menu at this homey restaurant includes almost every Romanian dish ever created. Service is chancy -- might be very good, might get your dish parceled out to you from the opposite side of the table because the waiter's too lazy. But if you hit it at a time when there's bad service, ignore it and enjoy the delicious and well-prepared food in hearty portions, the excellent wine list and beer list, and if it's open enjoy a breeze on the terrace. There's also an inside room, a couple of rooms in the downstairs crama (not good for claustrophobes), and private rooms for parties. Don't miss Nicoresti if you're in Bucuresti.
