This place became a standard for us to find food that we were used to eating, since most of the food in the Seychelles is much different from that of the west. Service was very, very, slow, but that is usually the case no matter where you go in the Seychelles. I ate pork stuffed with cheese which was real good. Like many other reviews, this is probably the best overall choice of restaurants and the place has tremendous potential. It was a real nice open atmosphere, and while we were there the singer could do a good job in both French and English, and could sing about any old country song you could think of.    [10 Feb 2008 20:18:56]

Friends of the pirates
If you ever want a fun afternoon or great evening then the Pirates arms Is for you, the food is amazing and their is live entertainment most evenings. I know because i live in victoria If you are passing by why not stop in and have a cold drink at the bar who knows you might even get a conversation out of one of us locals who have a wealth of knowlege about the seychelles, who knows we may even invite you along to one of are famous cerf island beach parties a must. if its a fair exchange rate or some information drop me a line and we can put you right. look out for Giles Joe Toffer Egbert, Jimmy to name but a few.
