Terrible All Round!
Rendang beef was rock hard - 4 stingy cubes of meat draped with thin curry sauce, a far cry from the tender juicy beef in rich thick sauce that even a hawker centre can serve!

Chicken in coconut was not boiled/steamed in the coconut like it is supposed to - the cooked contents were poured into a coconut so cold that within minutes our contents too were cold!!

Asked to see manager but wasn't in, so left my numbers to get hold to call me so that I can complain properly - did not bother to return call.

My Norwegian friend while leaving Singapore after 2 weeks: "That was the worst food I had in Singapore."    [11 Oct 2001 01:35:01]
