Charley Brown's Failed Big Time
We went to eat at Charley Brown's last night the 29th of November.
We were totally disappointed in the food and service, what service - they need to hire a real waitress. No chili verde or shredded beef.
The fajitas lacked bell peppers, tomatoes, and any seasoning.
The waitress brought our food and we never saw her again. When we needed more chips and salsa we had to stand up and wave at the other waitress and she only brought salsa and she left.
Charley Brown's is no where anything like on the border of Texas and New Mexico where everyone serves real Mexican food. Too many people eat at Taco Bell for Mexican food.
I will be in Bangkok 5 more months and we will not go to or recommend Charley Brown's. If they want to be known as a Mexican Cafe they need to learn to prepare Mexican food.    [29 Nov 2005 20:13:37]

Great Times - Good bye
Been in town for 3 years and it's back to the US. Thanks Chris for such a great time, very fond memories of Charley Brown's, the food is always good, atmosphere superb and the margaritas, well, must have drunk my weight in them!

The Expat Choice
Have been here over 15 years now and seen restaurants come and go. Was a "local" at the old Charley Browns way across town and although it was the best Mexican in town, I struggled to make the journey as it was so far to go. To my surprise I stumbled across Charley Browns again last week and YES the same quality food and decor, I felt right at home again. Definitely still the best Mexican in town, plus the margaritas were as good as I remembered them to be.    [28 Jul 2006 02:13:48]

Sorry, but not Good
'Chris' needs to stop writing his own reviews.

We heard many good things by some Western folks about Charley Brown's, so we went there for some Mex food.

Here are the facts.

The place is too small. Seating is too cramped. The food is just average. I mean average. The staff was nice.
