Great Local Carvery
The meat, vegetables, and Yorkshire puddings at this carvery were delicious. The eating area has just been renovated and looks great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Being able to go back for more food after finishing my first plate was a nice surprise! [06 Sep 2004 14:29:11]

Fantastic Surprise!!
I used to go here a lot, and I came back to a refurbished carvery, with a proper chef that served you food, and a wide variety of foods to choose from. I loved the fact you could go back for more vege, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing! Fantastic, but the pictures on the walls are quite rude! (Not a bad thing like! :P ) [26 Oct 2004 08:29:00]

We had heard that the carvery was superb and it was exceptional, the only down side is not been able to book a table. I can't understand why this is not allowed. The staff are fantastic, never met one yet who appeared to be stressed or not want to be there. [02 Apr 2005 13:02:51]

wonderful carvey
This carvery is absolutely delicous you will really like the turkey toby carvery is also good for vegetarians especially as they have the fresh vegetables for you i recommend you to come here.
If your kids are not keen on carvery they have a special childrens choice menu like sausages and mash. [31 May 2005 14:13:41]

Great Food, Excellent Service and Friendly Staff.
We recently celebrated a family birtday at The Toby Carvery. The food was excellent, the service exceptional and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They even brought out the birthday cake and provided a knife and plates so that we could eat it there. How many places will allow you to do that? [14 Apr 2006 13:00:44]
