Don't Miss this One One of the best places to eat in the state. Everything was excellent. Have been around the world and have eaten many places, but this is a favorite. [26 Aug 2003 12:57:48]

Great Place for Lunch Also The Classic on Noble is a great place for lunch and dinner also. It is open for lunch Monday - Friday and for dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Try their soups - black bean and roasted corn is delicious. I have eaten there often and have always been pleased with all the entries. Leave room for their desserts. [15 Jan 2004 09:57:58]

Overall Great I took my 14 year-old daughter for lunch there. She didn't think she would like it and she didn't, she loved it and so did I. The fried dumplings were delicious and the desert was the best I've ever had. Also the service was very good and the place was top notch. [05 Feb 2004 11:12:04]

Fabulous Brunch We had 14 family members there for brunch on Sunday. Every little detail was perfection. Excellent food and service. The staff is out of this world. [29 Mar 2004 11:28:59]

Classic on Noble We visted Anniston over the holidays - I had lunch at the Classic 3 times and dinner once. At Sunday brunch, my 5 year old son was very upset with us - did not like a thing ("Too fancy," he said). Then he saw the waffle man - the waffle chef cooked him waffles and went in the back and brought out peanut butter (on request). That day he ate 4 huge waffles. Now it is his favorite place to eat in Alabama - best place ever.
I am still waiting to try the dumplings everyone in town is talking about. They were not on the menu when I was in town. Beautiful place. Please make sure they have the dumplings on the menu in June - I will be back in town. Oh, the grits were the best thing ever - I would love the receipe. [07 Jan 2005 01:59:23]

Going Back Again and Again I've eaten there twice - downstairs for Sunday brunch and upstairs for dinner, and both times were excellent. Not only was the food great, but the hostess, the waiters (you get more than one) and the owners were superb. Also upstairs, you can play chess while overlooking the downtown and sipping on a nice glass of wine. Just the place I enjoy - good food, good atmosphere, good customer service, kind of like the way I run the $25 million business I own in Georgia. Thanks for the Classic experience. I'll be going back again next week. [04 Jun 2005 08:47:27]

Best in town we have eaten at Classics many times over the years and it just gets better & better. We recently had a large group there for dinner and had several servers; one who really stood out was Chassidy. she was very helpful with our selections and took very good care of us. Our Classic Experience My teenage son and I visited the Classic on Noble for the first time yesterday on our way to Birmingham from West Georgia. The experience was wonderful from the minute we were graciously greeted at the door and seated. The food at the Classic is absolutely delish,(It was difficult to choice one entree from the selection!) but the service is impeccable. Dining at this restaurant reminds me of what I would like all of the South to remain... classic, gracious and accomodating. Little details are not overlooked at the Classic and in a world where adequate is standard, I appreciated that. Although this is a very nice restaurant, it is absolutely family friendly and, despite the drive, my family and I plan to go back in a few weeks for Sunday brunch. We know that it will absolutely be worth it! [11 Jul 2006 13:24:30]

Fabulous food and service with a twist! I have eaten at The Classic and the food is some of the best I have ever eaten. I have taken many people there from out of town and they absolutely loved it, as do I. I have never been able to find delious lamb down here, try it. [21 Aug 2006 23:32:22]

Thanksgiving Feast This past year the grandmothers in our family have been ill and unable to get together for Thanksgiving. My husband and I, my sister, and our three children 25,22, and 15 decided to eat out at the Classic for our Thanksgiving meal. It was wonderful and met all our needs. Our reservation was for 1:30and the buffet was replenished until closing. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, quiet piano music, pleasant service made us all feel like special guests-even though they had served 700 guests that day. The owner took time to personally greet everyone to make sure they had enjoyed their meal. The salad bar was filled with a variety of greens, marinated salads, ambrosia and chicken salad was a favorite. Main course bar was filled with a variety of meats and vegetables served to perfection. Dessert bar was heavenly, loved the chocolate fountain. [23 Nov 2006 20:02:28]
