What a great place. Atmosphere, service, food (outstanding) couldn't be better. This used to be a regular hangout for my aunt in her younger years. I'm glad she took me there for dinner. Definitely worth a meal there.    [04 Apr 2004 22:32:50]

Clean Flatware?
The food at the Bright Star has always been very good, but the last time I went, the flatware wasn't clean; there were bits of food stuck to it. My friend had been there recently before and said the same had happened to her. The waitress told us we'd better check it, so she knew.

Overrated
I traveled to Bessemer to eat at this so-called legendary restaurant. It was horrible. For what I paid for dinner I could have eaten twice at better places. The staff was lax and the flatware was filthy.    [31 May 2007 14:53:10]
