never again we went with a group of 7. We were seated in a room to the side with 1 other family. They poured our water and then got a few drink orders..we asked for a wine list. that took 20 minutes. When he finally asked the drink orders..he just ignored me, i had to get him as he was walking away to get my drink ordered. The coconut shrimp wasnt very good..i'd rather eat outbacks. We had to send 3 steaks back because the medium well was bloodier than my medium rare. They didnt check on us very much. I ordered the steak with the special pepper sauce, it was disgusting..i like cracked pepper, but it seemed that was it..no other seasoning. Overall , i dont think im going back to that place anytime soon. [28 Mar 2007 14:45:21]

Think twick before spending your money! While the overall ambiance in the restaurant has a very elegant feel, the food is lacking in any imagination or real flavor. The ahi tuna was so smothered in a cloying sauce (the sauce was not mentioned on the menu), that the actual fish was indiscernable and mealy. When asked if we could substitute the rice pilaf for steak fries, we were charged an additional $2 and then brought greasy french fries, likely pre-frozen numbers. It seems piddly to charge for a substitution at a restaurant of this caliber. They were probably out of steak fries, but that should have been explained. The seafood bisque was tasty, but pureed to find which seafood may have made its way into the soup. A Porterhouse chopped salad was more piled when had it been chopped and pre-dressed would have been more elegant. It was served with two heaping plastic side containers of very, creamy dressing. The waitress was friendly and pleasant, but brought the wrong drinks and should have warned us about the substitutions. Best Steak & Seafood In Hot Springs, Arkansas I have been to Porterhouse Steak & Seafood many times. It is the best steakhouse in Hot Springs. The owners Joe and Penny Gargano are very nice and the staff is just wonderful.I would recomend if you want a really good steak or seafood, do yourself a favor and stop in and eat at this restaurant.
