You've gotta try it I grew up in Mesa, Arizona and I now live in Michigan. My family made many trips to the Mining Camp Restaurant. It is ideally located on the foot of the infamous Superstition Mountains. You have never had BBQ ribs until you've eaten there. The atmosphere is rustic Western, the view of "the valley" is spectacular no matter what time of the day that you are there... and it is worth going back. This place is famous for it's ribs that are drenched in their secret BBQ sauce. Also, another unique item on the menu is the cactus jelly (yes, it's really made from the flower of the cactus-prickly pear I beleive). I've lived in Michigan now for 10 years and my family still talks about our trips to the Mining Camp. Yum! [02 Jan 2004 22:04:46]
