Rude Service Flatiron Cafe Jerome, AZ The coffee drinks at the Flatiron Cafe are tasty but the people working there were very rude. We visited twice on our vacation to Jerome. Each time we purchased coffee there we were treated poorly. If I were to visit Jerome again, I wouldn't give the Flatiron a dime. [23 Jul 2002 21:46:23]

Great food and service A fun place to visit and for good food. Outside dining is a hoot! Great service, fun staff. [14 Jun 2004 11:43:49]

Just good ol' Jerome character! The food here is great - especially the Roast Beef and Capacolla sandwiches. Their soups are almost always "spot on" and unique.
And indeed - the coffee (and iced tea) here are full flavored and wonderful as well.
It is a small space - but with a very fitting ambiance for Jerome (and old mining town on the side of a mountain). [31 Oct 2005 06:03:27]

Always great food We live in Prescott and stop in at the Flatiron Cafe whenever we drive over the mountain. Have brought many visitors there as well. Always great food in such a tiny space. The outdoor patio across the street is a good place to watch the world go by while eating a tasty sandwich, wrap or salad or enjoyning a bowl of soup or simply sipping a coffee, tea or lemonade. If the service was rude in 2002, it had to be before Alan took over. Great job on the decor too. [08 Mar 2006 13:48:31]

Mmm...Good! Love the food! The Capacolla sandwich is very tasty. Love to polish it off with their homemade oatmeal cookies and a steamy cup of Chai-Latte. I found the service friendly and the food was served in a timely manner.
The cafe is a bit small (that's Jerome for you) but there is outdoor seating.
So worth a try! [07 Nov 2006 13:53:13]

Closed a lot I've been to Jerome a few times lately, usually arriving around 5. I always try to get to Flatiron Café - they have good coffee, are located in that neat wedge-shaped building, have a great view, (particularly for people watching) and have good coffee. But they close at 5, even on art walk nights. Strange. But their coffee was good the first time - they were closing and sold us their leftovers from the carafe. [04 Feb 2007 12:21:23]
