Best Inexpensive Buffet In Town? Hardly!
Welcome to my nightmarish dining experience at the Cafe On The Lake. Perspired through brunch due to heat radiating from window, but was refused alternate seating. Cramped seating resulting in being bumped by adjoining patrons throughout meal. Mystery lipstick on my water glass rim. Poor service with beverage glasses remaining unfilled for up to 15 min. A restaurant manager who listened to my complaints with an annoyed expression and uttered NOT ONE WORD, nor offered any courtesy gesture to soften the impact of my nightmarish dining experience. One of my party became ill after dining here and I can only assume that a connection may exist. A report has been filed with Maricopa County. A call to the Resort Mgr. with a refund request only resulted in an invitation to return as his guest for another brunch. I have declined his generous offer...    [05 Jun 2003 12:04:54]
