Wonderful and Local
Their food is true Italian ... the real kind, the food that takes hours to prepare and in a loving fashion that only a true Italian or European can understand. This isn't a place to have a fast pace meal. It is a place where you can savor every bit enjoy the atomosphere and engage in great converstation of a good bottle of wine. A bit disappointing
While there was nothing "wrong" with our dining experience here, it left something to be desired. The service is prompt, but the decor is a little stark. The food was freshly made and tasty, but everything seemed more like an appetizer than an entree, especially with the meager salad and "bread" preceding the meal. Expected more for the price. La trattoria best restaraunt in Humboldt county?
I believe this may be some of the finest dining to be had in the green country of Humboldt. The food is simple, traditional Italian, prepared with love and care. Just like you would find in a home in Italy.    [28 Jul 2007 15:13:55]
