I've enjoyed BM for quite a long time. Especially like the creamed spinach and the special macaroni and cheese. The meatloaf is my favorite but the ham is also good. It's fast food with a twist.    [02 Mar 2005 12:29:45]

Boston Market in Camarillo, CA is becoming a dirty place to eat. Apparently, training is needed, My wife and I used to go there frequently, until it became a "pig sty". Remnants of food on the tables and floor. When the tables were cleaned, it was with a damp rag, not a disinfectant. Salt pepper shakers were absolutely filthy, The seats were worn and split and dirty. The cabinets are broken and dirty ... some of the cabinets are even missing parts. The napkin holders are rusted and filthy.The help is always friendly, but they really fail when it come to making the restaurant a clean place to eat. The food is always outstanding, but training is obviously lacking as to what specifically needs to be done in the way of cleanliness. If the Health Department performed an inspection, the place would receive an unsatisfactory rating. I don't want to hurt the feelings of the manager there, but unless something is done, I WILL call the Health Department myself.
Perhaps if a Boston Market corporation representative would show up unannounced and inspect, it may be helpful. I don't want to see the restaurant go away, but under the present circumstances, it wouldn't surprise me if it were closed and really clean up.    [20 Dec 2005 18:07:18]

Fly in Sandwich
My daughter and I went to Boston Market, and she ordered a turkey sandwich to go. We also ordered a coke and the fountain for coke was empty and after several people asking for them to change it, they never did and we left without our drink even though I had paid for it. I had the feeling I would have had to wait forever to get my money back so we just left. Well as my daughter was eating her sandwich she noticed a large cooked fly in it!! I called the manager and then the district manager called me and apologized and said he would send out gift certificates but never did. I called the health dept and they went out there and said nothing was out of order, but we won't be eating there again.    [17 Jun 2006 20:15:46]
