Sorry we went there I took my family to dinner at the Ontario Black Angus restaurant. The wait was 30 minutes, which seemed fine for a Sunday night at 7 pm. After we were seated, it took 25 minutes for a waitress to show up. When she finally did, we just ordered dinner and beverages, nothing extra. It took another 25 minutes to get our drinks, and from the time we placed our order, it took 35 minutes to get out salads and soup, by which time the soup was barely warm. We didn't have utensils or napkins and had to ask for them. When they did arrive, two out of the four sets were dirty and had to be replaced.
After the salads and soup it took another 25 min. until our dinners were served. We had to ask for more refills if we were lucky enough to find our waitress. The meals were $20.00 a piece and the meat was dry and tough. Overall it was a very disappointing experience considering after asking the waitress for out check 20 min. later I had to ask a busboy to locate our waitress.
We won't be recommending Black Angus to anyone we like nor will we be going back in the near future. We could understand if the restaurant was busy but there were plenty of empty booths (I guess I know why) and plenty of waiters and waitress (except ours). One hundred plus dollars is way too much money to pay for shoddy treatment and less than adequate food. [03 Mar 2003 01:47:29]

Good food, good service, relaxing atmosphere Arrived at 6:30 on a Wednesday night. Seated immediately. Waitress was there in four minutes. Warm bread and butter were served, along with my wine, in minutes. Salad soon followed, and my delicious perfectly cooked (medium rare) rib eye followed about 10 minutes later. I decided to try the strawberry cheesecake for dessert, and it was (as the waitress cautioned me) large but very tasty. She noticed that since my dishes had been cleared away, I had no silverware left for dessert, and she brought some in less than a minute. My bill came out with the dessert, and my credit card receipt was back and ready for my signature when I finished my dessert. The restaurant was about 80 percent full, but service was outstanding and food was good. The restaurant is quiet and relaxing. [20 Sep 2006 22:53:46]
