Description
New restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine with a slight emphasis on Greek food. Has shawarma, gyros, falafel, humus, tabouli, etc. Conservative, traditional mediterranean offerings. Located in the Stater Brothers shopping center with that "retail strip mall feel" to the decor. It is not a large place and would not be appropriate for any groups. Diner style bar stools with a contemporary look. They make everything in front of you.

Unbelievable food Without a doubt, this is one of the best places to eat in the city of Redlands. Service is fast, the menu is simple but complete, and the food is without peer.
As simple as the interior is, this place cannot be faulted for quality in any respect. [15 Jul 2003 19:37:08]

Okay but Not as Authentic as Others I grew up in Little Gaza and have eaten at many restaurants and friends' homes . . . I even do a little dabbling in a few dishes myself.
Phoenicia is good for someone who does not really enjoy the savory seasonings of this type of cuisine. It seems like they are either afraid to really give the neighborhood a taste of real Lebanese cooking or they are not familiar with this type of cooking. If Zankou or a number of other restaurants ever come to the IE, Phoenicia will really need to pick up the pace to stay in the race. More garlic in the cooking would be a bare minimum start. I would say it's good if you've no other choice, but there are others . . . [31 Dec 2007 21:52:59]
