Great View
The Beach Chalet makes sure to like Brewery first, its beers will tell you why. It sits above the Golden Gate Park Museum. The murals on the walls of the museum are something to look at if you have to wait for your table. The restaurant has seen many chefs but the food has always been enjoyable. The view of Ocean Beach is spectacular especially at sunset. The restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner on the weekends and just lunch and dinner during the week. On Sundays the wait for a table could be hours, seriously. Best time is mid-week.
Since the restaurant shares the building with the park downstairs, the public bathrooms can get quite untidy.    [14 Jan 2004 03:10:43]
