For those that enjoy british pub food If you know you enjoy British pub food then this will be an enjoyable meal. I've had significantly better meals in British pubs but for LA this is about par. [02 Apr 2006 18:44:17]

Wonderful First Impression of British Cuisine My first experience with British food was with the Crown & Anchor, and it was quite enjoyable. The atmosphere is comfortable and mellow. The service is warm. The fare is by far the most intriguing aspect of the meal and is quite flavorful. I've been there twice and have been exceptionally satisfied during both visits. Overall, a wonderful venue I will continue to visit. [06 Jun 2006 15:53:20]

Brilliant! I love the pub lunches on a Sunday, roast beef, yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings, great profiterole desserts. We take a few families and eat the "Toad in The Hole," a meal in itselt, a giant yorkshire pudding with fresh sausages, onions and gravy MMMM. Always a crowd pleaser and a nice introduction to some British Pub fare. Its not gastronomical but home fed bar meals. Down the street there is a british store selling all kinds of knick knacks and more food/candy to take home. A monthly occurrence and a great night out when the bands are on too. Just a 'local'! P.S. Am from Scotland! [24 Apr 2007 10:40:53]

Forever a Customer All the normal British menu items. Good selection of tap beers. Great sports bar atmosphere. Lots of chaps cheering on their hometeam footballers. [04 Jun 2007 15:29:50]

I love this place. The owner usually comes and greets everyone when he is there. The only complaint is that the food is a bit pricey, but at Happy Hour, "American" appetizers are half off. [19 Sep 2007 14:49:13]
