Discriminates against women? I've had absolutely wonderful meals at this restaurant when I dine there with my grown son (and I'm the one doing the paying!). Dining there as a woman alone, however, has been quite disappointing. I'm always seated by the bathroom, even if the restaurant is 90% empty. Just yesterday I was served a wilted salad, topped with 5 small strips of steak, 3 of which were 75% fat and gristle (VERY different from the divine steak salad I'd had with my son). When I complained to the waitress, she replied, "that's just the way steaks are." Well, it wasn't a steak! It was a pricey steak salad containing very little meat and one might expect that meat to be edible! [04 Sep 2005 15:28:30]

Owner was the Rudest person I took my elderly parents to the outback steak house on Geyser Road in Colorado Springs for a Birthday dinner they both asked to have their steaks cooked well done. When the steaks came out the first time they were still red inside with blood. We sent them back and then here comes some guy who wasn't even in a uniform looked as if they had draged some guy from the street to bring us our steaks and when my parents cut the steaks they still weren't well done. The guy did offer to take them back but by this time I was half way through my meal and they were very hungry and didn't want to send them back again because the steaks had already been sent back once and we also had to send a salad back before the steak because the salad dressing on it was nasty tasting and it was ceaser salad and I love that kind of dressing but this was the most gross ceaser salad dressing I have ever tasted. The waitress came back to table and ask how the steaks were now and I said they still aren't right and asked her to get the manager for me and she tells us that the man who bought us the steaks was the owner and she would go get him for us. My father said to the owner(Who apperance was the most unprofessional) that maybe he should teach the person cooking how to cook steak well done.My father was very nice about it and didn't say it rude at all. This guy pipes up and says well if you like we could burn them up! Never once did he say he was sorry that our meal was ruined. He had the worst attitude I have ever seen coming from someone that is running a buisness. He walked away and said well I have the waitress do someting for you. They did give us 1/2 off the bill but the fact remains you don't treat paying customers like that and the wonderful birthday dinner plans I had were ruined. My parnets ended up eating a steak that wasn't cook the way they wanted it. This was my first time to that steakhouse and the last. I take my Parents out to nice resturants at least twice a month so this man has lost someone who would of been a good customer. Since my parents love to go out and eat steak. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the bake potato with bacon and cheese it had a about 5 pieces of shreed cheese on it and about two bacon bits. [02 Jun 2006 00:15:39]
