What a treat Relaxing, wonderful atmosphere with charming staff & scrumptious food. Acoustics could use improving...sometimes gets very loud. They also have a wonderful Sunday brunch for CT [10 Feb 2005 15:06:01]

Swinging gourmet Ever since La Zingara opened in Bethel the city has gone up a notch. The chef is creative and reliable, the M. D. is charming and accomodating and the service couldn't be more friendly, albeit at times less than professional. But the food is invariably good at times excellent. Good wine selection and pleasant decor. [22 Mar 2005 21:39:32]

I would go again We are serious foodies; always on the lookout for a newcomer in the restaurant field. Last night brought us here by chance and it was very good.
The veal croquette appetizer sauce was excellent, but the croquettes themselves were sausage tasting and lacked depth. The veal scallopine in the madeira brown sauce was excellent, as was the filet with the gorgonzola.
Overall, a very enjoyable and delicious eve - try it. [18 Apr 2006 07:15:41]

Easily the best in the area The food is great, creative, and reasonably priced. The chef is always on the mark, the staff is excellent and the bar is great for an after dinner drink. Everyone is friendly. [25 Feb 2007 17:37:34]

Favorite area restaurant This is real gourmet fare. I dine here at least 3x per month and have been impressed with quality and service each time--La Zingara has become my favorite area restaurant and the one I most often recommend when asked. Excellent specials, great staff, always good wine specials and check out the chocolate fondue for dessert. [25 Jun 2008 15:50:38]
