Excellent Cuisine, Good Quiet Service Since this Japanese restaurant opened a few years back, it has been one of my favorites. I use it for both business and family lunches and dinners. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly and efficient.
My most frequent order is the Sashimi Deluxe. [09 Sep 2004 14:18:38]

Best Sushi around Sushi is fresh and very imaginative. Try the Ginza chef speciality roll. Beautiful to look at and better to eat. Hot food equally good. Benihana type grill, plus table and tataki rooms. Service is friendly and attentive. Everything at a reasonable price. [03 Sep 2003 16:56:06]

Best Sushi, Hibachi, service and food! No matter what my wife or I order, our expectations are exceeded. The sushi is fresh, the hibachi exceptional and anything on the menu is made with only the highest grade ingredients. Since I work in Avon, I have a chance to frequent several other very good sushi restaurants. None have been able to match the one two punch of Sushi/ cooked meals at Ginza. Partner that up with reasonable prices and you have in my opinion the best restaurant in the area. [08 Feb 2005 11:56:40]

Raised prices, Nothing included, Too bad! Used to be great. Now they are greedy. Noodles are $2 extra, as is ice cream. smaller portions.I am sad that the old Ginza is no longer. Too bad. [17 Jun 2005 20:52:29]

Since Ownership Changed, Not As Spectacular! I used to love Ginza. Since it's changed ownership and a lot of the familiar faces are gone, it's harder and harder to get what we want when we go. The food is still enjoyable, but I find the atmosphere less friendly - and the prices more expensive - than before. I am looking for a new satellite restaurant (Feng?) in Hartford on Asylum Avenue this fall, though, in the old Song Hay's location. I will definitely check that out. Also - check out Thai Palace, a few doors down from Ginza, brought to you by a former owner of Ginza! It's delicious. [08 Aug 2005 20:37:38]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: Beef negimake, Peanut-Avocado Roll, Tofu Steak (no longer on the menu), Tofu-Vegetable Soup, tempura, sushi and sashimi always fresh and usually nicely presented.
