Fabulous The Copper Beach Inn is beautiful and romantic. It’s well worth having to force my husband to put on a suit.
I have not found anywhere in Connecticut that can match the presentation and taste of their food. Absolutely stunning from start to finish, with amazing service. My husband and I have yet to leave with a check less than $200 (with wine) for the two of us, but each time we have felt it was worth every penny. [22 Dec 2005 15:16:54]

Too far over the top I've tried to like this place. I've been to Pips twice and the dining room twice. I'm not sure what it is, but I seem to start thinking about my age a lot there. As soon as we start driving there we age 20 years. I like my 40's and I like Copper Beach's food and I like their new brasserie, just it makes me act old.
I'll probably head back there again one day because I do like it, but I can't help but feel old as I'm typing this [24 Feb 2008 15:54:36]
