Unbelievalbe Beer Selection They boast, and live up to, having over 50 beers on tap at all times. Look for the chalk boards as the selection rotates often. The food was great, a little light on quantity, but high on quality.
Great outdoor patio when weather permits. Again, beer, beer, beer makes this a night spot or day party paradise!
The interior is shocking - like trailer park meets nostalgia meets ?? Very cool. [23 Mar 2006 13:22:27]

Not just for Beer Drinkers I accompanied my husband to Eli's while I was pregnant, thus, a cold mug of beer was not an option. However, the food was more than your usual bar food. I had a yummy chicken wrap, which was more than enough to fill up a person "eating for two." The beer (so I was told), the food, and the atmosphere were all good. The only complaint is the place was noisy - which I would expect at a bar - so it was a little difficult to have a conversation. Next time, I'll request a table on the patio. [07 Sep 2006 15:26:00]

Best Bar in Middletown My husband's favorite place to go in Connecticut is Eli's, so much so that he and I go to there every Tuesday night to see their featured microbrewer of the week. Their beer selection is incredible and always changing, their food is tasty and diverse, and the atmosphere is original and fun. We have NEVER been disappointed. One recommendation is not to go there if you are in a hurry because you won't want to leave! [12 Dec 2006 17:57:07]
