Complete Waste of Money My wife and I ate at the Firehouse a couple of weeks after they opened. We opened with a jalapeno popper variation which wasn't bad. Little did we know it was to be the best part of the meal. I ordered a fried scallop dinner which contained very few scallops and was overdone. My wife's NY strip steak was full of fat, overcooked and over marinated. Why anyone would marinate a NY strip is beyond me. A $10 Stop and Shop steak cooked under your oven's broiler would have put that piece of meat to shame. Every restaurant has an off night but our complaints went ignored by our waitress and 2 follow up emails to the restaurant brought no reply. I'd sooner eat at Buger King than waste my money at this place again. [03 Oct 2007 22:36:12]

Fried Clam Crumbles Had lunch for 4 on a Saturday. Ordered fried clams, $12, and out came a plate of bits and pieces of fried coating and maybe 3 pieces of recognizable clam pieces. What are they thinking?!! Ordered mild chicken wings (they come in mild, medium, hot) and they were a little more than mild and vinegar-y. Beer selection was good. Philly steak sandwich and hamburger was good. [26 Mar 2008 17:19:26]

Great Steak! My wife and I had one of the best steak experinces at the Firehouse. The filet mignon was large as filets go, and it was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was very attentive and ensured that my wife's steak was cooked as a "real" medium rare.
Will absolutely be going back to the Firehouse. [09 May 2008 08:46:41]
