One step below Taco Bell
Don't even think about it. With weak margaritas served in 14 oz beer glasses that cost more than many entrees ($8.00 to $12.00) and completely unremarkable food, pass this place up and head down to Branford where you have a choice of 3 Mexican restaurants that put La Boca to shame in every way. Great food, mediocre atmosphere
We had a pleasant waiter, the food was excellent. We had a burrito and a plate of enchiladas both served with a side of rice and refried beans.
The only downside was the ambiance. The place looked a little run down inside, but the food more than made up for it. [23 Aug 2007 10:06:42]

Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Restaurant!
I frequent La Boca as both a restaurant and a bar. The food is always delicious (I suggest starting any meal with the amazing nachos) and is served in a timely manner.
As a bar, La Boca is perfection. Quick and attentive bartenders, a great atmosphere, and fun events. Trivia Night (Tuesday) is always a blast. Enjoy the tequila question ;) [05 Aug 2008 18:17:13]
