Excellent food & presentation
I have tried this restaurant four times now & it is consistently very good. The prices are reasonable, from $20-$28 a dinner, which includes a house salad & bread. The presentations are fantastic, the quality is superb & thus the prices are justified. Ironically drinks are very reasonable. I usually get a marguirta & they come in a good sized glass & cost $4.50.    [08 May 2006 09:42:46]

Elegant food but in a barroom atmosphere
The food is outstanding. We enjoyed delicious duck and filet mignon, plus excellent salads. The proximity of the dining room to the bar made the atmosphere less than ideal, as it was a very noisy bar crowd the night we were there (a Saturday). We enjoyed hearing the 80s tunes playing in the bar, but they clashed with the magnificence of the food, creating a mixed message. The dining area and the food would have been more appropriately serenaded by some nice piano music, or jazz or new age music, with the bar sounds muted by doors or a different location in the building. Citrus should decide if it's a neighborhood bar or a comfortable yet elegant dining experience.
