Stay away
Went there for my birthday and had an 8:30 reservation and it took them 45 minutes to seat us. The place is small and crowded but the food was good and they had a decent wine list so we figured we would try it again. We walked in and the hostess said they were clearing off a table for us. After waiting 20 minutes I asked the hostess about our table since it doesn't take 20 minutes to clear off a table. She proceeded to roll her eyes at me and snapped "it would be just a few minutes" while brushing me off. Meanwhile, other people who came in after us (who did have 8:30 reservations) were getting seated. We waited another 10 minutes and my wife asked again. She was told "it would be another couple of minutes" so we took our name off the list and left. We had friends in from out of town so now we had to find another place to eat. Best restaurant in New Haven
My husband and I dine out every weekend and have found Cafe Goodfellas in New Haven to be by far the best resturant in New Haven County. Food, service and atmosphere are always excellent and consistent. I highly reccomend it.    [01 Mar 2007 15:57:46]

Great Restaurant
